Phase 3: April 6

Phase 4: April 10
In the fourth phase of polling, elections will be held for 44 seats in 5 districts that include Howrah Part II, South 24 Parganas Part III and Hugli Part II, Alipurduar and Cooch Behar.

Phase 5: April 17
In the fifth phase of polling in West Bengal, elections will be held for 45 seats in 6 districts that include North Pargana Part I, Darjeeling, Nadia Part I, Kalimpong, East Bardhaman Part I and Jalpaiguri.

In the sixth phase of polling in West Bengal, elections will be held for 43 assembly seats in 4 districts that include North Pargana Part II, Nadia Part II, East Bardhaman Part II and Uttar Dinajpur.

Phase 8: April 29
In the eight phase of polling, elections will be held for 35 seats in 4 districts that include Malda Part II, Kolkata North, Murshidabad Part II and Birbhum.
The 5 pm day-end planetary position for the day indicates slight improvement in BJP performance but TMC is likely to suffer much here.
Conclusion:
This will be a fiercely contested election where BJP will make inroads in West Bengal for the first time yet may fall short of absolute majority, resulting some sort of post poll adjustments.
